Throughout May, the teams from Pound Gates, Sevatas and Contior took part in The Cycling Challenge for Soma Leo and raised over £5,000 for the charity.
Through a combination of static bikes in the offices, spin classes and special cycling challenges, the team collectively cycled over 7,400 km, the distance from Ipswich to Nyiera, in Kenya, where the Soma Leo Academy is located. It even got them a little of the way back again!
Funds raised will go directly to providing new laptops, computer and internet connectivity for the school, which will help with the children’s online learning and connection to the wider world.
Huge congratulations to everyone who took part.
Massive thank you to everyone who sponsored the team and helped them to smash the £5,000 fundraising target.
